These Terms & Conditions (the "Terms") apply to every purchase from, and every use of, this website, which is operated by United Metals Exchange ("UME," "we," "us"). Placing an order or using the site means you accept the Terms in full; if you do not accept them, please do not order from or use the site.
UME deals in coins, currency, and precious metals as collectibles. UME is not a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, financial planner, or commodities trading advisor, and nothing on this site or said by any UME representative is investment, financial, retirement, tax, or legal advice. Every purchase decision is yours alone, and you should bring your own independent financial, tax, and legal advisors into that decision. These markets can swing, prices can drop, and what happened before is no promise of what happens next.
Because metals and collectible markets move continuously, this website shows no prices; every price is confirmed by phone at the time of purchase. A transaction binds both sides once price, quantity, and payment method are confirmed verbally with a UME representative and an invoice number is assigned. Calls may be recorded to verify order terms. Everything on the site itself, including listings marked "In Stock," is information only and is not an offer to sell at any price.
We work to keep the site accurate, but descriptions, images, availability, and other content can contain errors. UME reserves the right to correct any error and to cancel an order that grew out of one, including a misquoted price, with a full refund of what you paid as your sole remedy.
We take check, credit card, and wire transfer, and orders ship only after payment fully clears. Returned checks and disputed charges can carry fees and go to collection. By paying, you confirm you are at least 18 years of age and authorized to use the payment method provided.
Prices lock at confirmation, so cancellations carry the market loss and cancellation charges laid out in our Refund & Returns Policy, which is part of these Terms.
Grading is subjective, and experts and services can disagree. Unless we explicitly describe a coin as certified by an independent third-party grading service, any grade or condition language is UME's opinion, not a representation or warranty, and UME does not promise that any grading service would agree with it.
UME makes no representation or warranty about any item's future value, rarity, appreciation, resale price, or liquidity. Our Resale Disclaimer covers this in detail and is part of these Terms.
Shipping runs under our Shipping Policy, which is part of these Terms. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the carrier confirms delivery.
To the fullest extent the law allows, UME's total liability from any order or from your use of this site is capped at the amount you actually paid for the item or items behind the claim. UME is never liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost market opportunity, even if told such damages were possible.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UME and its owners, employees, and agents against any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, that arises from your breach of these Terms or misuse of this site.
Florida law governs these Terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or to any purchase is resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in Palm Beach County, Florida, administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, and only on an individual basis. Both you and UME give up the right to a jury trial and the right to take part in a class action. Judgment on an arbitration award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
If any part of these Terms proves unenforceable, the rest stands. These Terms, together with the policies they incorporate, are the entire agreement between you and UME about your purchase. UME can update the Terms at any time, and the version in force when you buy is the one that governs that purchase.
