How your order gets from our vault to your door.
Last updated: July 2026
We ship through insured carriers of our choosing, most often USPS Registered Mail, UPS, or FedEx. Insurance through transit and delivery is included on every shipment at no charge to you, and every package requires an adult signature at the door. Because signature delivery is part of how we protect you, we cannot ship to P.O. boxes, freight forwarders, or any address that cannot accept a signed delivery.
Your order enters processing after payment has cleared in full. Clearing can take up to 5 business days depending on how you pay, and personal checks can need extra hold time. From cleared payment, orders usually leave our vault within 5–7 business days. Treat these windows as estimates rather than promises; heavy market activity or carrier disruption can stretch them.
Nothing on the outside of the package mentions coins, precious metals, or United Metals Exchange. Every order travels in plain, unmarked packaging for your security.
Title and risk of loss move to you the moment the carrier confirms delivery to the shipping address you gave us at purchase. Once delivery is confirmed, United Metals Exchange is not responsible for loss or theft, including a package signed for by someone else in your household or one left at the door on your instructions to the carrier.
Open your order and compare it against the invoice within 48 hours of delivery. If anything is damaged, missing, or not what you ordered, call 561-413-3087 right away; claims raised after the 48-hour window may not be eligible for resolution. Hold on to all packaging until you are satisfied, because the carrier may require it for an insurance claim.
Weather, carrier backlogs, and other events outside our control can slow delivery. A late package is not grounds for cancelling an order or reopening its price; your number was locked when you confirmed the purchase by phone.
